Hello! Newbie here. Owned Escorts for years now and used to the 'normal' things failing like the temp sensors, fans, etc etc but this has stumped me. I've just got an Escort 1.6 Si Estate (R Plate) and everything's fine except when the car gets warm and the revs go to about 3000 on changing gear and drop immediately to normal. I'm not sure if this a ICV problem or a MAF problem or something more hideous like the clutch. Any advice would be warmly recieved!
