coworth 1986 wont rev out when hot
Hi ,I have a sierra cosworth 86, The car has plenty of power,but after about an hour of driving it starts to splutter under hard acceloration,almost like a rpm limiter but would start to splutter at 4000rpm, help Please !!

DON'T rev when warm until you've checked the basics, it sounds like a electrical issue, but could be fuelling.
It's odd it takes so long to be affected, but as a minimum I'd check the fuel pressure, pump voltage UNDER LOAD, and if not recent put in anew fuel filter for peace of mind, I do them every year, but every two is really enough imo.
