depends what one you got but some go on the connecter on the diesel pump but they work by upping the fuel pressure.

there is only one plug on the end of the fuel rail, thats it.

(its not a tuning box, it will be a pressure increaser.)

the proper tuning boxes are different, the box you and I have is just a variable resistor that confuses the pump to up the pressure, a tuning box will alter the map.

See the fuel rail at the front of the engine in the lower picture with 4 silver unions heading over towards the back of the engine?
At the very left of that is a big silver nut. To the left of that is a plug with a dab of green on it and what looks like 2 yellow wires going into it.
That's where it goes: between the plug on the end of the two yellow wires and the fuel rail.

if your interested, the little scales at the bottom of peoples comment, to the left of the hazard warning triangle, is how you add to peoples reputation. (its a nice gesture when some one has gone out of there way to help you like puma_dal.)

Glad to hear you've fitted it successfully.

What box did you fit? I know when I fitted my >Tuning Diesels< box it transformed the car with more power and torque but just as importantly these days, more mpg

the trouble with these boxes is depending on the milage of your car it ups the pressure and can blow the seals in your diesel pump, i speek from experience and it cost me £800.

I have the tuning diesels synergy 1 (ROVERRON BOX) on my focus and it transforms the car. They are supposed to be one if the best tuning boxes you can fit and are spoke very highly of
