Gonna paint my calipers Next week brought savage caliper paint frozen White only thing is when I done my rear drums 3 months ago rust is now coming thru so is there any sort of primer/rust prevention I can use before painting as I don't want this to happen on front calipers

 

Iv only ever used engine paint or smoothrite and made the calipers rust free first, strong mix of caustic soda is good for this just be careful eats every thing.

 

does this result in a clean finish then and this be applied to the paint or will i have to remove paint 1st then just paint over when done

 

Still need help planning on doing these next weekend
