Question brakes

fitted cossy brakes today only thing is i now have to push the pedal 3 quarters down before i get any resistance from the brakes then when they do start working theres not really much there be for we change the brakes the brakes would start working at say 1/3rd of the pedal been pushed down has something been down wrong brakes were bled using an automatic bleed kit

could it be that the engine was not running whilst doing this as i just read on another forum that you should have your engine running when bleeding the brakes

also what size bleed nipples are these as i want to replace them any ideas peeps

I dunno if the engine running has anything to do with it. But make sure there's enough fluid in the resivoir and bleed them again sounds like you've got air in the system.

Im not sure but i think having the engine on when bleeding the brakes will help as this will make the servo work.. check the resevoir level
