Default T3 Boosting Issues!

Spent the day setting the boost up on my Orion EFi Turbo, which started well. Boosting at around 5psi and other than feeling hesitant to drive it was fine. Got the boost up to around 8/9psi (standard ecu/no chip) and it drove better but smoked heavily on boost and even more on overrun (which i put down to the 2nd hand exhaust i'd installed). Then tried a spare OFAC ecu, to see if it would cure the hesitation and the car drove better but would not make any boost at all - nothing whatsoever...
Swapped actuators, adjusted them checked for boost/vacumn leaks, even put the original OFAC ecu back in. Now it occasionally hits 1-2psi and then drops right off boost to Zero and sometimes doesnt boost at all! Turbo sounds fine, spools up nicely and sounds as if its coming on boost and its no longer smoking but i get nothing - no boost!

Maybe ive blown the turbo (a recon'd by myself T3)? What else could it be?

Sorted the boost issue, i had removed the filter inline to the MAP sensor as it blew off on boost, put this back in and no more problems with it holding boost.
However the car still holds back quite badly as the engine 1st comes on boost 2.5k rpm - if you hold it at 1/4 throttle it pulls through it and once its cleared at around 3.5k rpm it drives fine after that! Fuelling issue maybe?

Id suggest you get it set up by a reputable tuner
