3dr missfire help
Hi guys, i have a missfire on my 3dr on no 2, replaced the cap, rotor, phase and crank sensor,plugs and leads, ign amplifier tried gapping everthing up checkd injectors are pulsing and all the surrounding loom! even done a compression check. ive now run out ideas

Hi Al, yes think so the plug is wet and i can hear the injector pulsing through a screwdriver! i only changed the sensors beause i thougt it was getting a bit hesitant when i came back on the throttle at speed! apart from that it was flying.
The other thing im thinking is maybe ive disturbed the dizzy shaft pulling the old rotor off! it has got quite a bit of up and down play in it. and seems too me that its rotating a bit upwards when the engine is cranked??
If the plugs got wet it is SCRAP, it won't recover, it may work a bit but not correctly all the time.
The easiest way to track this down is to do swapsies swap the no2 injector with another and see if the problem moves with the injector.
Just because it is delivering fuel does not mean it is working ok, could be partially blocked, gummed up giving s shit spray pattern, jammed open partially so it floods and is so rich it won't ignite when spark comes along.
