Before I start stripping it all out, are there any obvious places to look? The rocker cover was hand tight so I tightened it up, the sump gasket & bung are ok but the leak seems to be coming from between the engine and box from the underneith but I cant see where.

Any help?

 

that would be the rear main oil seal leaking! gearbox off clutch and flywheel, may get away with just loosening the sump bolts abit!

 

Would I be right in saying its the seal where the crank bolts to the flywheel?

 

yea, it's either that or your sump gasket!

 

The sump gasket seems alright so it looks like a strip down. I had planned to respray the bay, but not this soon. lol
