Default a wiring loom question..

I want to remove as much of my wiring loom that i don't need. I've allready removed the old engine loom but want to remove things like electric windows, central locking, heaters, rear wiper loom etc as it going to be a track car. Do i basicaly just follow the wires that i want to remove and cut them out?

any help would be great thanks

Very basically yes, but be aware that there are often wires joined inside the insulation so may have to do some "repair" afterwards!!
