Hi, anyone ever used KMS engine management?, experience of mapping or set up of this type of ecu? I may have the opertunity of one of these from a mate, wanted to know peoples experiences. thanks in advance chaffe.

A few of my friends are running it at the moment

 

I've used it and its a pretty good piece of kit. Used it on a home built zetec turbo

Can't give you much info on how it stacks up with other mapping software as I havnt used anything else realy.

 

good to know im not totally in the dark if i coose to run it! ill find out the exact model later and let you know. All i remember was having a glimps at the software and being a bit confused, the fuel map was made up of nonsense numbers and was not as legible/operator friendly as megasquirt. Maybe i was looking at the wrong thing, it was a while ago.

 

Its not the most complex thing. You can get a copy of the software only so maybe worth a fiddle. If not pm me your address and I will send you a copy

 

It's v3.2-1, apparently does six cylinders and 36-1, mate only wants a 100 quid for it so I think I will give it a bash, thanks for the support, if I need any help I'll be sure to ask!
