Alright guys and gals,
The plan..... 2.0 zetec mk4 cab, easy yea!! pah

Can I use the mondeo loom and ecu in the escort?? Just for general ease and at first just to be sure the engine runs and fits ok etc.... I understand I'l have to frick around swapping connectors over/lights & electriclas, doing away with un wanted plugs but I'v got time..

Also the zetec uses the cvh sump, pick up pipe, flywheel and manifolds. I'm wary as my escorts mfi, will the mfi inlet manifold fit the zetec? Surely it wnt bolt straight on and will need an adaptor making. But do I use the mfi inlet??

Also, I was talking to an engine place and they will port and polish the head and will also rebore, So, the zvh engines are mostly 2.1 so could I run a n/a 2.1 with oversized pistons and the head polished? The internals will all be uprated but would the engine work? management wise if it was running the mondy ecu would it make any difference? It will eventualy get remapped and set up properly but as things are the cab still has a 3i engine under the bonnet!!
