Default Vibration (Zetec)

hi
got a problem with me 2i 16v, when im traveling at motorway speeds im getting alot
of vibrations throught the S/wheel and gas pedal, anyone got any ideas??
ive had it tracked etc so it aint that, i also had it compression tested to see if it were
a sticky valve like my engines prone to but got the all clear
i notice its only when i press the gas pedal, could it be a knackered Injector, cams or sensor

any help would be good cheers

i wouldnt have thought it would be a alternator maybe something to do with your driveshafts or even gearbox mounts. have a mechanic look at it cant charge you for just having a look at it
