Gents,

Will a Varley 30 Battery be OK for a Cosworth powered track car ?

I believe they are impact resistant but just wondering if that too much or too little juice for the engine ?

Running a standard compression ratio engine and standard starter motor.

Hope someone can advise ?

Hoogi i had one on my mk1, it was fine never had any problems at all,in fact i bought it 2 years before my car was on the road,i charged it up fitted it and it never let me down

As AL says should be fine, don't know about a cold winters day if left out all the time though.

Car is always in the Garage........and I do have a Trickle Charge Unit.

So guessing that's the way to go......I best get spending

Don't use a trickle charger, use a cyclic charger or conditioning charger.
