Default Gear difficult to select when hot

Hello,

Just had my MT75 gearbox rebuilt on my escort cosworth but am now finding it difficult to select any gear when stationary when the engine/gearbox has heated up.

I've also noticed, when it's heated up, when stationary if I try to select any gear a small grinding noise can be heard when you push the gear lever to the gear, which gets quiter until it stops then the gear stick will move freely into any gear with the clutch down.
as soon as I put the clutch up it's the same again with the noise before it stops and gear ok to select again.

Anybody have any ideas?

i'm thinking the clutch and the clutch adjustment should be ok as there are no problems when cold and the guy who rebuilt the box said the Synchros were fine and had been replaced recently.

I used Miller's fully synthetic oil for the box, does anyone think it could be the oil type? Would this explaing the grinding noise when warm?

any help would be great thank you!!

Dan
