cossie fuelpressure
hi guys im new to the site but got a quickie for ya, im running a stage 3 setup on my 2wd cossie, but i was wondering what the fuel pressure is, cus on my guage it is about 3.5/4 bar, but on my wideband guage is reading 10.2, and i think thats a bit rich even on cold start or on warm up enrichment??
10.2 is off the scale rich really.
You need to identify whose chip(make) it is and ask them what pressure the chip was written with, most are std rail pressure, 3 bar vac pipe on, about 3.6 vac pipe off.
It's vital the rail pressure is correct for the chip so just open up ecu and see whose it is.

The ecu is a 5 minute job to take out and open up, prise out pad in dash where ecu hides, big philips screwdriver on the tabs at each end undoes the ecu, pull out slightly unplug pull all the way out, now remove the 4 top screws 1 in each corner, chip is in the corner can't miss it, the only one that is removable on a little holder affair, will have a label/writing on it.

Does the chip have a SSS or 555 on it, some think they look like SSS others say 555, this would point to a std chip, that may have been re written, best bet is to get it on the rollers where afr can be seen under load etc, safest way of doing things from your point of view, just set to std pressure then get a fuelling load check done, cost 1 hours RR time but could save your engine.
