Hello Everyone
We have just purchased a Fiesta Ghia 1.25 Zetec, S registration 1998. The rear wiper is not working, he has cleaned the contacts on the liftgate and still nothing is working.
Which one of these contacts on the rear liftgate is the feed for the wiper motor? Is this feed fused/What is the fuse in the fuse box?
Any advice in general of how to fix the rear wiper would be appreciated please.
Thanks for your help![Big Grin](https://passionford.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

First obviously check the fuse, the legend will be symbolised on the rear of the glove box which needs dropping down to both see it and get to the box, the fuse box will be in the glovebox. (This is true of modern Fords but as yours is slightly older I should think it's a MK4 it may be different, the fusebox will most likely be under bonnet in this case)
If good then I would check the relay which will be located in same place, if this is good I would suspect the motor itself, very unlikely to be wiring problem.
The wires pass through corrogated rubber sleving into the hatch itself which will be near the hinges at the back.

Hello Martin
Apologies for the late response, I thought I had left you a message on the forum previously to thank you for this.
Anyway, thank you very much for your help - it works just fine now.
