Hy to all!I have a question...Will i'll have 'short' gears if i put 1.4 gearbox(escort mk5 1.4 75hp) on rs2000 ?

 

hallo kolega .it will have short gears it will have max speed only 195 klm but it will climp the revs like a kawasaki and if you go hillclimp no one is gonna stand in your way. i could chase subarus in hillclimps.you ll need a little of 3rd gear to reach 100klm but in my opinion its worth it

 

so it fits and the gears are short ?
is it strong enough ?

it revs kike hell you will enjoy it !but find someone who can do the engine swap. i bought mine ready so i cant tell you details how to do it. it will also need a good exaust pipe no catalyzator just a back box. ziv i zdravi!

 

your flywheel and clutch will not fit into this box as it is an ib5 or posibly bc box, the rs uses an mtx75, that is totaly different. Different mounts, gear linkage, drive shafts, clutch and cable. Plus the rs2k box is much, much stronger than the bc/ ib5 box. Not a conversion i would go for. What is wrong with the RS box?
