Default Which dipstick

Can anyone tell me which dipstick setup I need for a 2wd cossie running a 200 block with 2wd sump?? The one on the car is shagged. Ive just bought a 4x4 dipstick and tube (plastic top one) off ebay, but i think I might have got the wrong one .

Anyone??

Keep the dipstick relevant to the sump, measure the length of the tube that sticks out from the block, then measure the length of the dipstick itself from the collar that sits in the tube to the min and max markings, then do a search as I posted up these measurements not so long back, doesn't matter what one you use so long as it fits and keeps oil level somewhere near, I always run mine around 1 1/2 pint over anyway.

I don't know if the 4wd dipstick tube are a different length, no reason they need to be, I would GUESS they are the same, you can check ford part numbers that will tell you.
Yes 2wd sump on 4wd block need a 2wd dipstick + tube, as you will be using the 2wd oil pump with the 2wd sump.
