Hi chaps.
Out for a run today every thing seem to be ok and the a got a sound like something dragging on the floor. It seems i think to be coming from the t5 gearbox.
Its seems to be worse when im setting of 1st 2nd 3rd possibly 4th.
when in 5th the gear i kept it in as much as possible around roundabouts trying not to change gear there did not seem to be a noise.
As i got into my street i had to change down then up through the gears to third i was being gentile but there was no noise any ideas.
also if the gear box is duff how much will it cost for a recon or can i do it my self.

About £350 for a recon box, noise not a good thing, but hard to say where it's coming from in side the box, most likely bearing of some sort.
