hi all, im really needing help now i have the engine wiring underway but cannot get a spark! i have wired in the 12 pin plug with pins 1, 5 and 8 with ignition live and pin 7 with a permanent live. i understand the pin wiring as follows
1 12v ignition
2 switching feed to fuel pump relay
3 tacho feed
4 unused
5 12v ignition
6 oil pressure light feed
7 12v
8 12v ignition
9 unused
10 unused
11 unused
12 temp gauge feed
i did have 12v on the centre pin of the coil pack until i plugged the lambda in, but still have no spark, the engine sensors are all connected and the pats transponder is plugged in, i have not got a fuel pump connected yet but this shouldnt be an issue should it? the ecu is a SLUG and the engine was running when removed from the donor car and nothing has changed. the engine is earthed direct to the battery as are the 2 small black wires off the ecu!
please help as im pulling my hair out now! im getting desperate
cheers
