Hi,

I want to upgrade the standard speakers in the front of a Focus MKII Estate 2006. The factory speakers are integral to a plastic adapter that is a large oval shape and is riveted onto the car door! Can anyone advise on a pair of after market adapters that will definitely fit this before I start drilling the rivets out! I've done a few web searches but can't seem to find anything that look right, but someone must have done this upgrade before??

I'm not after any real fancy upgrades, simply to replace the factory speaker with something decent (I have a pair of 17cm ish Infinitys that should do the job).

I had the same arrangement on my mk1 mondy, just pulled apart and screwed speakers into doors structure.
I'm pretty sure alpine do straight replacement ones for the mk2 foci.
