i have a 1.6 cvh cross hatch head cating no d88sm6090fa what was this of and is it simalar to the 81 cross hatch that ya can port seen one on ebay but none cross hatch and it says its for a rst but another site says its a carb fitted model 86 on hemi head with unleaded valve seats just wanna know what it of and if its worth keeping or flogging

 

i assume you mean this head has a kidney shaped combustion chamber? if so this is the lean-burn head fitted to fiestas and escort carb models in the mid 80s to early 90s unleaded too. the full hemi heads were rst or early pre86 cvh with domed pistons. also as far as i know all late EFI cvhs had hemi heads and domed pistons. the lean-burn head can be a goodun for tuning, but only of use if you have the pistons to match it.
