Default mk3 escort brake upgrade

hey peeps im thinking of using granada coworth front discs and calipers on my mk3 escort, just to replace the standard 240mm with some 273mm discs. can anyone tell me there thoughts and if they know if they fit ok.

I'm 99% sure they will fit ok, but know 100% the xr4i calipers/discs fit, these are 260mm, same size as used on series 2 rst.
You will need at least 14" for the 260mm discs, I think you need 15" for the 273mm granny ones.
Better pads make a awsome difference, try some ebc yellowstuff, or redstuff.

standard granada calipers are same as sierra (abs) and rs turbo. (260mm) if using granada v6/cosworth calipers 278mm these are same as 4wd escort cosworth. use these with 2wd sierra cossy discs (283mm). you will need to drill out the carrier holes on your hubs to accept m12 bolts. use slightly longer bolts and washers to space caliper out.
