Default Ford Focus 1.8 TDI Engine Cuts Out

Hi was driving home from work yestarday was driving for about 10 mins then car started to stutter engine felt like it was going to chuck it started to loose power stearing then engine stoped.Tyred to restart engine it would turn over but would not start.Left it for 10 mins then started first turn, got it back to house engine was running as nothing had happend.Went to work next day car broke down half way there same again but this time engine would not start back up had to get car towed back to house.Someone suggest i get diesel as the gauge was low but i knew it still had plenty of fuel in it so went and got diesel put it in then it started first turn so i left it running after a few mins engine cut out again.I have tryed changing fuel filter still no joy.
I have noticed when i turn the ignition on the glow plug lights go off then when i try to turn engine over the glow plug light flashes does anyone know what can be wrong with engine.
Do i need a new pedal assy.

UPDATE - Went out to car this-morning started first turn so i let it idle in the driveway it ran for about 4 mins then cut out.

Thanks in advance any help would be great.

Thanks very much for the info a friend might be coming over today with a machine that will hopefully get a error code to be 100 %, if it is the cam sensor are the parts available from say halfords places like that or would i need to go to ford.

Got the car on computer just now the results were as follows

P1665 = Fuel injection pump communication pcm
P0335 = Crankshaft posistion sensor a circuit malfunction
P0216 = Injection timing control circuit malfunction
P1246 = Alternator load input failed var code

The friend that done this for me attempted to clear all codes from the computer they all cleared on screen

Second attempt

P1246 this is the only code thats showning on screen now

Anyone any ideas on what parts i should get replaced is the foot-pedal assy causing this ?

Any help would be great thanks

NEW CODES
Got all other codes cleared

P1663 & P1664

Does this mean my injection pump need replaced ?
I have been told to try replacing the fuel control module anyone had to do the same thing ?

Thanks in advance
