Default sapphire boot wont open

Any easy ways to get into the boot, without causing major damage ?

Car has been sitting outside the house for some months, and parts were stored in the boot. I did try and open it once over the winter during a bad frost, and it didnt...so assumed it was just frozen.

Have tried a few times since, and no joy.

Internal pull does pull a cable, but doesnt do anything.

Key goes into barrel and turns clockise to approx 1-2 oclock. But doesnt actually feel like its doing anything.
It will not turn anti-clockwise at all.

Tried power off/on to see if that would jog any central locking etc...but no joy.

The ironic thing is...is that when the damn thing was driving, the boot would pop open at random !!! Now the fucker wont open at all.

get in the back seat and you can carefully pull back the backrest in the corner and release the seat back , then climb in the boot and release the boot from inside and don't forget your torch!
I have done this myself once, also when you get the boot open pull up the little tab on the lock that is why the cable won't work..
