Wondering if anyone knows if the distributor in a 2.9 cologne engine would work with the engine on carbs i have heard of 2.8 distributors being machined to fit and works fine but just wondering if there is any way of using what iv got. Thanks

 

It is possible to make it work, but you dont get good timing advance on the ignition, hence the reason they modfiy the shafts to fit 2.8 dizzy on
