I have a 02 plate Ford Focus St170 and purchase a second hand Dreamscience stratagem. I checked out the straagem and all seems fine with 5 lives and in stock mode.

First, i plugged in and checked dtc codes, none found. Then checked the cars current ecu software version, which came back as ver 3.

Then i went to install the dreamscience software, all was working well then it failed. I tried to go back to stock and it keeps coming up with failed.

Now the car wont start or turn over or anything. I have checked what i think is all the fuses in the car and all are ok. The dreamscience kit wont even read codes on the car now. I have been able to use the dial gauge to check the codes and it comes back with D262 which i beieve is saying there is no milage etc.

Please help as i am afraid this is gonna cost a fortune....

 

first port of call would be dreamscience, id give them a ring first befor i do anything. failing that id disconect the battery for half an hour and make sure the dreamscience unit has no power? does it have battery's etc??? then start again.
