Default Break disk replacement.

Hey guys, im new to the forum and im sorry to jump in straight away with a dumb question.

I need to replace the disks on my Focus MK1 1.8 Zetec, I have had a quick Google but I am unable to find anything remotely useful.

Ive had the card up on Axle stands and had a look but im unsure of how to remove the disks, from what I can tell is I should remove the calliper and then tap the disk loose. Is this correct and if not do I need to remove the locking nut on the end of the drive shaft to allow the disk to come loose?

Thanks in advance

you got it in one mate. remove the 2 bolts holding the caliper on and the disks will tap off.dont undo the drive shaft nuts tho. i would recamend changing the pads as well as the disks

Thanks buddy, guess what im doing when I get home from work
I will see how the current pads cope as they are pretty new and have only covered around 1500 miles, ill give em a try and if no good ill chuck em.

Thanks again
