Nothing from volvo will fit easily in that generation of mondeo. I would look at the zetec turbo route if your after daft power.

well wont be that easy but if you can weld and do fabrication work then shouldnt be too much of a struggle for you, if its your 1st time attempting something like this then its going to cost you alot and be alot of messing about at a struggle, i think there would be two ways in which you can do it

1. fit the volvo engine and gearbox, which involves costom mounts and more then likely modifying the driveshafts/hubs, and all the usuals such as engine wireing loom mounting intercoolers, exhaust mods, maybe different feul setup etc

2. fit just the engine, costom engine mounts, i think the gearbox bellhousing will need to be modified no doubt to bolt on, shouldnt be too much trouble i would think if you can ally weld? modified flywheel and no doubt ive missed out other bits that will need doing

anything is possible, depends how much you want to spend, and how good you are with a set of tools. will involve a lot of fabrication i would have thought.

You never thought about supercharging the V6 thats in it ?. or using something that wouldnt be as much chew, like a MK1 Focus RS engine ?
