Default xr3i efi cut out

hi all i'v got a problem wandering if anyone can help last night started the car up started fine drove down the road and the car cut out no miss fire or poping just cut out like u just turned the key off so i was thinking fuel so got towed to the garage put a tenner in then got towed again still nothing so when at home i took a spark plug out thinking it could be electrical on taking it out i thought the spark plug would be wet after towing it thinking it would be throwing in fuel and not burning it but the plug was bone dry,now after a few tests i'v checked the fuel and theres fuel to the fuel rail and checked for a spark but theres no spark so i'm stuck where to look now has any one got any ideas cheers

I'd check the ecu fuse, as this will knock out both fuel and spark if blown, don't know where it is on your car though, it may be attached to the main control relay itself, this supplies 12+ to the injectors and ecu at the same time.
