MK3 Mondeo Drive Shaft Inner CV Joints
I must have the unluckiest MK3 Mondeo in the world. In 7 months I have had the rear callipper cease, head gasket go, Expansion bottle leak (this went un noticed and caused the HG to go), Coil pack stop working and the windscreen break....twice.
Now both inner CV joints have decided to basically explode. There is CV grease everywhere, both boots are intact and there appears to be cracks on the metal casing of the CV joint.

Is this a common fault on the Mondeo or do I just seem to have the worst MK3 Mondeo ever made?
I have the 2.0L Duratec model.
Are the 1.8 and 2.0L drive shafts the same? What about the Diesel drive shafts and the 2.5/3L V6 variants? I'm just going to get some 2nd hand shafts but can't find any listed for the 2.0L duratec and want to know if there are other options to choose from.
Or has anyone got some decent drive shafts with CV joints they want to sell me?
Thanks in advance for any help

20K+ Super Poster.
You've been amazingly unlucky I'd say, at a GUESS I'd say defo the 1.8/2L will be the same, I wouldn't be surprised if the V6 versions are a bit beefier.
Try driveshaftuk, or reco-prop in luton, but if you got to luton don't leave any valuables in the car it is pikey city!!
