Hi can anyone help. My 03 mondeo tdci, when cold starts first time but when it's hot and been sitting for about 20 minutes and you go back to start it, it will fire but then stop straightaway. This can go on for between 5 and 10 turns of the key. When it does start the engine sounds like a bag of bolts turning round. It won't rev up for about 3 or 4 seconds then will kick-in and run smooth. There is no engine warning lights and the dredded orange 8 does not flash so I don't think it's engine management. There is no loss of power from the engine, no black smoke when the car has started and no white smoke either. Can somebody help?

Thanks for tip Just phoned local ford dealer want 120+vat to up date .can i get it done any where else.
