if i was to convert my s2 rs turbo to a 1.6 zetec ?? what would be needed?? is it a straight forward swap or do i have to make engine mounts up and wiring ??

Why would you want to do it mate? think you will need like you say mounts, wiring loom,etc.

best bet would be to buy a 1.6 16v escort that is rotted/scrap but running well so you have all the bits but personally think it is an odd choice.

Most stick a 2.0l engine in, maybe even look for a mk4 escort that has been done and create a rep rather than convert yours??

 

i want to do it because my engine is a zvh but if i start it up and dont even drive it, it gets too hot, ive replaced the manifold gasket twice and yet oil is still seeping out, and its seeping out inbetween the join from the manifold and turbo, and it smokes quite alot too,and tbh im just fed up with trying to get the engine to run right, so im looking into different ideas
