Default 2 wd sapphire brakes

hi what is the best way to replace the brake fluid on my sapphire cossie, its been lying and pump cycles and stays on a bit too long, want to change fluid and see if it helps, I have checked all fuses under pass footwell and all seem ok
any hints, is it the old pedal down pedal up etc or if the system is pressurised does it need another method?

You need the key in Pos 1 for abs valve to open to do the back start from the corner furthest away from master cylinder this being the nearside back then the 2nd furthest and so on, obviously it's a two person job unless you have a one man brake bleeding kit. As with any bleeding keep an eye on the reservoir and make sure it does not drop below the min level. It's normal when the car has been stood for the pump to run a while.

I just disconnect the actual pump motor key in 1, then use a vacuum bleeder, I start at the nearest, it's not so far to walk ha ha!!
