old diesel van
new here
just bought an old courier van 16yrs old, always had petrol before. can anyone help....... always have to park nose down on a hill cos if the other way round diesel runs away and then it needs manual pump to get it started.......
when climbimg hills it as no power, its a 1.8 engine and although its diesel should it not have pulling power?????
Im waiting for a manual as i dont no my way round diesel engines but can anyone point me in the right direction????

sorry mate cant show u a picture as im in a labour ward with my mrs at the mo and im on my phone. But the filter housing is on engine above the gearbox bolted to the head has the priming plunger on top.
