main shaft bearing removal ?

Default main shaft bearing removal ?

any ideas how to remove this bearing its the only thing stopping me from rebuilding my gearbox

special tool. but don't know where u'd get 1 from.

Heat your oven to 150 degrees centigrade, put the casing in for 30 minutes. Take out of the oven and then using a slide hammer knock out. Don't use a bar under the casing underneath the bearing as it is very thin, you risk breaking the casing!

how big do you think my oven is lol
got it out in the end cut through it with a dremel and knocked it out
