If its a 20 year old pump then its worth changing at standard power IMHO!

For the few quid extra versus a replacement standard one, you may as well.

But a new standard one correctly wired in should cope with stage 3.

Think of £50 put a new pump on same type
or £110 for the 044 with the fuel system under more pressure since changing mine feels more repository and seems to use bit less fn why

Definately a good plan if you are looking at 400+ soon anyway

The 044 pump is very little extra flow, the main differnce is it does have a much higher lockout pressure, flow is around 375L/hr on 941 and 400L/hr on 044.

where did you get your figures from?
the ones i got told from a bosch dealer was a 941 gives 150L/Hr and a 044 gives 200Lt/Hr, there is an in between pump, 979 @165Lt/Hr.

I got the figures from a actual in use/under load test for the 044, sat in front of me, shows output, current, pressure, I remembered the 941 pressure.
