4x4 rear shocks

can anyone tell me if the rear springs and shocks off a cosworth 4x4 will fit onto my XR4x4? if they do will it be a straight swap? cheers

Almost certain they will, you can not however use 4WD shocks on 2WD as there thicker but as you have 4WD think it will be ok.

Yes and yes, the 4wd shocks can be used on 2wd by cutting 1/4" of each end of the bottom eye fitting, conversely 2wd can be sued on 4wd with spacers(washers) to take up gap.
