Yes can be fixed no problem, that's no gaurantee it won't break again though, the sheer heat of turbo cars tends to crack the manifolds, but a lot last years after cracking, cossie ones are always cracking.

I bought a new one off ebay for about a tenner as I recall. Better than welding up an old one which will always have a weakness.

I agree with MarkN easier to buy a new one but if you were to weld it then the way to do it would be to mig it with a mild steel wire then when youve finished bury it in sand and leave it to cool down naturally , this helps to prevent it cracking as is common with welding cast metals . Cheers Ally

put it in your oven at about 250 degrees for half hour, weld it quickly then bung it back in the oven and cool it down about 10 degrees every 5 minutes or so till cool this should prevent it from cracking as cast has a tendancy to do after being welded

ok. Its for a zetec turbo build, so thought i'd pinch it off a mate as he's bought an expensive one. Should I just put my hand in my pocket and fork out for a decent one?

Lumiweld it, only need a decent blowtorch, plus the lumiweld rods.
