Brembo 4 pots on a Mk6
Firsly I'd just like to say hi...first post here, be gentle
Just want to ask a few things about the Brembos, have done a search but would like clarification and a bit of advice if possible
I have a 2006 Fiesta ST and want to put a set of 4 pot Brembos on the front, and have just won a set of refurbed and pressure tested Fiat Coupe 4 pots on ebay.
Firstly, are these the same in every way as the Mk1 Focus RS calipers?
I am most concerned about the attachments/hole spacing. It appears they are identical, and a search suggests most folks believe them to be...but I would like to check. I should get my calipers shortly so if anyone wants me to measure them up to check things I can do
Secondly - what size disk would you recommend? Can I use them on a 300mm Focus ST170 disc?
Obviously a custom bracket would need to be made - the Fiats have 305mm discs so one would think 300 would be feasible. I know some use the Focus RS 324mm disc but I think wheel clearance would be more of an issue with this disc and 17 inch wheels.
At present I have the standard 17s but want to go for some Compomotives or similar, so with the right offset and choice of disk I'm hoping I can avoid the need for large wheel spacers.
Thanks in advance

Speak with www.mda-motorsort.co.uk they do brackets to use the FRS brembos with the 324mm disc on the fiesta ST. Think they are about £80.

The Coupe brakes are the same size but not the same mounting as far as I know, though very similar.
A mate has Brembos on his ST with Focus RS discs at the minute (coming off soon for AP's I believe).
He needed 10mm spacers to clear the standard wheels from what I remember too.
