Hi people

i have 2wd cosworth front brakes fitted to my escort rs turbo s2,
when i got the car it had 17" alloys fitted to it, now since then i have
been putting the car back to standard and have tried to fit the original
wheels but to find they dont fit !!!!
the caliper seams to be to far foward and is hitting the back of the wheel.

so has anybody done this conversion with these wheels if so what did they have to
do,
i am thinking get the faces of the calipers skimmed and fit 5mm wheel spacers.

what do you think .....

any help on this would be great as i am coming to the end of my project and should be
on the road within a few weeks.
