My mk1 escort is going to be getting mapped soon The workshop that is doing it normally deals with the jap stuff sr20s rb engines and the like. Is there anything I should suggest to him to keep a eye out for when mapping a yb. He claims mapping is mapping but Im a bit unsettled about some one who hasnt touched one before. Its using autronic if that makes any difference.

There isnt really anything that stands out to me from having mapped a few YB's that is greatly different to any other engine Ive mapped TBH, its just a totally run of the mill 4 stroke turbo really.

Although the YB doesnt take as much ignition for the same compression as an RB generally from what I hear (not mapped an RB myself), but if he is a decent tuner he will work that out without needing telling anyway.
