Default help and advice needed please

help.

on my escort mk 6 the sills have been done but there is bad rust on part of the square section chassis below the floor of the boot under the car.

its on both sides where the rear towing eye is attached to if that makes sence.

i just want to know if people have had these repaired? or can they be replaced? of patched up?

suggestion please, just want to get it thru mot.
