Cosworth ignition amp
Hi guys

I had the guy round today to finish of the wiring

We started the car with the new ecu I got

Then we finished tapeing up the wires and I went to move the car and now it will not start

He tested everything and he seems to think it's the ignition amp

Is there anyway of testing it????

Or is there anyone in the Basildon area that has a spare i can try

 

more than likely hes fucked something up!!!or it could just be the coil or the ignition amp,lol

We swap over the standard ecu with the L1 with the 300 chip
as I pushed the button the pump run and fired and run lumpy
but I put that down to only having blues not greens in

Then he finished off taping to wiring up

Then I tried to move it no sparc

he checked everything on a brake out box and
said that everything is working apart from it not getting a sparc
he tested the coil and there is power getting to it and to he lead so the only thing it could be is the ignition amp

Just don't have the money to buy one and it be something else

 

if you can get down to me tomo mate il give you one to try
im down between gatwick and brighton so not to far...

But it turns out it's the group A coil that fxxked

So all is good once I get a new one
