Hi all

my rs1800 fiesta has got itself a problem it started of with the oil light coming on at idle a quick rev would clear tt so i thought it would be the pressure switch, however the next morning when i was going to change it i started the car as normal got up the road and it cut out tried to start it was turning over very quickly no compression so i thought it had broke the belt, i took the cover off to check the belt was fine, tried to start it again with alot of cranking it eventually started but off a cyclinder once it idled for a while it cleared it self, it has done this every morning i have tried to start it but the oil light would stay on for up to 20 seconds i assumed the problem was the oil pump so i changed it yesterday alll back together and everything was fine till i tried to start it this morning and again the same problem has me baffled anyone ever had this probloem or have any ideas

ps it is a standard engine with no mods
