Anybody have any idea why my cossie cuts out sometimes when giving it some full throttle?

It seems to kill the ignition, and will then only restart when i have waited about 5 seconds, turned the ignition on and off and then back on.

Then it behaves as normal.

Any thought???

Maybe overboosting, what setup is on the car(chip),also is there a immobilizer,
fitted,

Also, is it 2wd or 4x4 ?

 

Standard setup on a 4x4 engine (Redtop), but on 2wd drivetrain.

No immobiliser.

CHECK all sensor connections are clean and well on,as it wont start for short
period, maybe fuel related, or relay main or fuel pump,if all good and connections and a good 12v, at the pump,try a fuel pressure and delivery check to see
the condition of the system regulator/pump/filter, and for any leaks in the
system, do u have a boost gauge in the car, if not, check wastegate
linkcage is not sticking,if all ok, need to do system check for sensors
and ecu with proper equipment, but look for the obvious first bad connection
earth etc,
