Default Weber fitment

Im 18 and have purchased twin 40s on pinto manifold for my capri. They are a little tatty so i have purchased service kits. Right heres the reason for the post , How do you fit them? I want to fit them myslef but i need a step by step guide on how to fit them as i cant find one anywhere. I realise they will need tuning afterwards but wanted to attempt fitting them myself does anyone know of anywhere that explains the full workings of carbs as i want to learn more about them and be able to fully understand there workings by the time they are on the car.

All help really appreciated
Cheers

hello mate
best thing to do is get you self two haynes manuals
1, ford capri or any car thats got a pinto fitted if you haven't already got one.
2, weber carburetter haynes manual.
the ford one should show you how to remove and replace the old carb and manifold, but just substitute the new carbs instead of refitting the old one.
and the weber manual will show you how to overhaul and tune the DCOEs.
hope this helps
RegardS nick.
