The prob is ive bought an rst that had a blown rst engine! ive rebuilt it and added a few extras like collins chip stg2 hybrid and all the usual extras such as samco,s etc etc! the prob is that it doesnt like starting when its hot and when it does it idles lovely and revs up out of gear but when its in gear and comes up on boost it hesitates and holds back? got any ideas anyone?

 

Ya starting prob may be a leaky injector causing the system to loose pressure. The heat from the engine causes air pockets in leaking injectors so you have to build pressure up when starting.

When you say hold back does it feel like somethings dragging you back before it goes.

 

i done me cam timing 2day its better but not rite! when it holds back it feels like its dropping onto three cylinders then it clears and then keeps coming back! poss ht fault i think?
