Mondeo will not start

Default Mondeo will not start

My son ran the Mondeo out of fuel, costed to the petrel station but will not start, is there a fuel cut of button Ican press to get it moving again, is ,can anyone tell me the location, its a "T" reg 1999, 1800 LX,any help would be most appriceated.

there's a fuel switch in the kick panel on the passenger side a lilttle hole you stick your finger and press it to reset the fuel system

only if its a petrol mondeo, dought this would have tripped tho, is the car petrol or diesel?

petrol hence 1800LX im guessing lol

thats the inertia switch, that shouldnt need touch unles he's hit something!

prime the pump 3 or 4 times then try starting (without using the accelerator pedal)

its a cut off switch aswell if the car runs out of fuel so you cant nack anything trying to start it

my mondy has run out a couple of time and ive never needed to touch it.

you cant "nack" anything trying to start an empty car.

Thanks to all for your help, the fuel switch was OK (in the place Steve indicated), but it was the "T" belt tensioner broke and the belt jumped a couple of cogs, so its replacement time. Thanks again for all your possitive replies.

Default timming marks on cam pullies

I have taken the cover off the cam pullies but can not see any timming marks from the front, but from the rear i can see one virticale line on each pully are these the timming marks on a 1999 16 valve zetec engine???

could be looking at a few valves if the belt's jumped

you need a locking bar for the back of the cam's
