why does this happen????
Hi,
Ive just been out for a spirited drive and i cant understand why when coming up to a junction or lights, when i put clutch in the revs drop down to 400 rpm then start bouncing from 400 to 1200 for about 20 secs as tho the car is hunting revs.
Any ideas please?
cheers

No the ISCV is shown to be working by the fact it's hunting. It's being told to do this most likely the VSS at fault also check clutch pedal switch though don't think it will be this as it just tells ECU when clutch is depressed I think which raises revs so as to achieve a smoother change but has been known to cause problems.
